SAnDS is a custom software development company that was co-founded by Sean Alty and Damon Siusta in 2006.

Both Sean and Damon bring a diverse range of business and IT skills to the company with over 24 years of combined experience.

Who are we?

Sean Alty, Managing Director

Sean holds a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences from the University of the Witwatersrand – South Africa.

He has benefited from working in a wide variety of industries and with over 12 years experience in Information Technology has gained invaluable experience in developing end to end solutions. Much of his experience is in developing complex IT solutions.

Sean is now increasingly focused on client relations providing technical advice to business managers. Consequently he has been able to deliver a number of high profile solutions.

In addition Sean is a specialist in web based and visualisation technologies. Sean, together with Damon Siusta, founded SAnDS Business Solutions Ltd in 2006.

Damon Siusta, Director and Company Secretary

Damon Siusta has over 12 years experience in the IT industry across a diverse range of industries. He holds a diploma in computer science and is a Microsoft certified solutions developer.

He started his career with a large multi-national corporation developing insurance and invoice discounting systems. He then moved on to a leading provider of financial solutions where he assisted in the development of various financial systems some of which included an asset management system and SWIFT payment system. He later joined a small privately funded company where he was part of a team developing specialised e-commerce software.

Together with Sean Alty he set up SAnDS Business Solutions Ltd where he works as a senior developer and technical architect.
